How it is made
Finished by hand
The beaded halo around the amethyst is formed from round-edged wire, shaped into a frame and soldered bead by bead. The effect — a rippled border rather than a smooth edge — is labour-intensive and visually distinct from cast halos.
The 18k gold bar is a structural element and a design choice. It separates the post piece from the drop, holds the diamond row, and adds a tonal contrast between the two metals that plays differently depending on the light.
Rose de France amethyst is selected for its pale, consistent lilac tone. The stones in each pair are matched by hand before the settings are assembled.

Rose de France is a variety of amethyst with a soft, pale lilac tone — lighter than standard amethyst and distinct from pink amethyst. The colour shifts depending on the light source.
