Craftsmanship
No two leave the bench the same way
The setting begins as a flat sheet of 14k gold. A goldsmith works the surface with a small ball-peen hammer, pressing each mark in by hand. This is not a milled pattern repeated by machine — it is a series of individual decisions made at the bench, which is why the texture shifts from piece to piece.
Where polished gold gives you a mirror, hand-textured gold gives you a surface that moves — a quiet, matte shimmer that reads as warmth rather than flash.
The amethyst is set last, after the texture work is complete, so the stone sits flush against the finished frame without damage to the facets.
