How it is made
Finished by hand
The clover form is cast in solid 14k yellow gold, then hand-polished to a mirror finish. The bezel that holds each garnet is formed separately and soldered in place — the stone is set last, pressed in by hand and checked to sit flush with the rim.
Checkerboard faceting across the flat face of the garnet creates a grid of tiny light-catching angles. Against the smooth gold of the post piece, the contrast is deliberate: two surfaces, one idea.
Each pair is matched for colour and depth before finishing. The garnet you receive will be close to the images, but not identical — natural stones vary, and we consider that a feature.
